Frequently Asked Questions
1. What do I do if I cannot see my job posting on the MBC website?
Postings may take up to 48 hours to be viewable on the MBC website. If you cannot see your posting after 48 hours, please contact Kendra Howard at 617.674.5157 or Kendra.howard@massbio.org.
2. What do I do if I need to make an edit to my posting?
If you have submitted a posting and you need to make an edit, please send an email to careers@massbio.org indicating the Job Title and the edit(s) that you need made. In some cases\ (the majority of the posting needs editing), you will be asked to submit a new job posting and the incorrect posting will be removed.
3. What information will show up on the MBC website?
For your convenience, we have labeled the sections of the posting template “information will not be displayed” and “this information WILL be displayed.”
4. What do I do if my posting expires, but the position has not been filled?
If two (2) months have passed and your posting expires and you have not filled the position, please email careers@massbio.org indicating the Job Title that you wished to be refreshed. Your posting will then be refreshed with the current date and will be displayed for another two (2) months.
5. What do I do if I have filled a position and I want my job listing removed?
If you wish to have a position removed from the MBC website, please email the Job Title(s) to be removed to careers@massbio.org.
Please Note: Postings that are removed from the MBC website can be recalled at any time. If you hire a candidate and the candidate does not work out, simply email careers@massbio.org to request that the posting be refreshed. As always, please indicate the Job Title in your request.
