Research Associate- Process Analytical Technology

Responsibilities:

Candidate will assist with development and qualification of analytical methods with an emphasis on chromatographic-based separations that evaluate raw materials, process intermediates, and final products. The individual will document experimental methods and results in well-maintained lab notebook and will present data in small, informal group settings. The individual will participate in on-going programs by completing test requests supporting other groups in the organization using current analytical methods. Candidate will also gain exposure to Process Development operations assisting with studies aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes. Individual will be responsible for the operation, troubleshooting, and coordination of vendor-supported maintenance for analytical instrumentation.

Qualifications:

Experience with HPLC use/troubleshooting and Millennium/Empower software. Familiarity with other Analytical methods (SDS-PAGE, Westerns, protein quantitation) a plus. Recent Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with 1-2 years relevant experience.
