We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced market research or business development professional with a background in the biotechnology industry. This position will primarily be responsible for conducting market research and analysis, and utilizing the data to create support for assessing new and existing market opportunities.
Duties
Assist the Vice President in the development and execution of strategies and tactics required to achieve business and market development goals including support for acquisition and partnering activities;
Provide detailed market analysis and competitive intelligence on a periodic or project basis;
Conduct primary and secondary market research and use qualitative and quantitative data to create financial models and analytical support for assessment of existing and new market opportunities;
Advise management on competitive activities and strategies and perform market research to support business development, including market assessment, feasibility, profitability and strategic fit;
Interface with external partners;
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree in a scientific field required, with minor in marketing or business; MBA preferred;
3-5 years of market research or business development experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical market with strong knowledge of the biotechnology/pharmaceutical market essential;
