Principle Research Associate

Job Responsibilities:
The principle research associate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to qualify and validate new immunoassays to support the department of Pharmacology / Toxicology. The selected candidate will be responsible for optimization, qualification and validation of assays to support preclinical development. This position includes writing validation reports, SOP'S, and technical reports. The candidate should be able to analyze, evaluate, and organize generated data with minimal supervision. Candidates should be able to independently define and implement a series of experiments to approach problems. The selected candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to handle multiple projects at a time

Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a BS or MS with 5+ years experience in assay development.
Experienced with GLP and FDA guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in immunoassay development (particularly ELISA) and enzyme assays. Effective oral and written communication skills. Supervisory experience is a plus.
