Job Description:

We are looking for a Scientist to join Merrimack's innovative oncology therapeutic group, an interdisciplinary team merging the talents of experimental and computational scientists. The group is focused on developing novel oncology therapeutics by applying principles of mathematical modeling, systems biology, and protein engineering to rigorous biological data. You will apply your antibody engineering expertise to the design, generation, and optimization of our therapeutic leads.

Job Requirements:

Candidates should have a PhD in biochemistry/ antibody engineering or 2+ years post-graduate experience in a relevant field. Essential skills include design and expression of constructs in mammalian systems, protein expression and purification and cell line development.

Familiarities with various bioassays to determine activity are a plus. We value strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work within a fast-moving team, enthusiasm for science, and a flexible, entrepreneurial spirit.
