Contract Research Associate - Protein Sciences

Momenta Pharmaceuticals is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join a key research team involved in the support of our glycoprotein biologics research and development group. This position is for a minimum six month contract with potential for extension.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry or related field of study with at least 2 years experience preferably in a biotech/pharmaceutical setting.

• Experience in glycoprotein and/or carbohydrate analysis is highly desired.

• First hand experience with chromatographic techniques (reverse phase, normal phase, etc.) on small molecules or protein biologics.

• Solid biochemical knowledge base including understanding of techniques for the separation of small molecules and proteins. Knowledge of metabolite analysis is a plus.

• Applicants with experience in LC/MS or MS are encouraged to apply.

• In addition to these scientific skill-sets, the qualified individual must be able to work independently, possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, work as part of an integrated team, and demonstrate both an attention to detail and a desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
