Account Manager, In Vivo Imaging Agents

Position Summary
Reporting to the Agents Business Unit, the Account Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of the sales strategy for VisEn's line of fluorescent imaging agents in a defined Region by performing the responsibilities as defined below.

Position Description:
• Participates in formulating Company strategic and tactical sales plan for a defined Region.
• Coordinates and executes sales activities to ensure revenue and profit growth and expansion of the Company's customer base in a defined Region.
• Generates leads and business opportunities for the Company.
• Maps key customer organizations and develops and executes Key Account sales strategies.
• Presents product and technology features and benefits to potential customers.
• Gains commitments for and secures product orders from customers.
• Manages all aspects of customer relationships including pre and post sales interactions.
• Coordinates activities with subordinates providing application, technical and field service support.
• Acts as a representative of VisEn Medical Inc. at trade conferences, scientific symposia and other functions where VisEn Medical and its products are presented.
• Prepares sales activity, status and forecast reports on a regular basis.
• Maintains and updates accurate information in the VisEn CRM database
• Responds to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community and resolves all issues professionally and amicably.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Liaises with VisEn Sales Managers to share opportunities for FMT instrument sales, to assist in pre-selling VisEn agents with new instrument sales and to coordinate on-going agent sales at key shared accounts.

Qualifications:
• B.S. Life Sciences and two to four years related experience in Life Science consumable/reagent sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Proven experience selling and understanding scientifically-technical products (preferably reagents).
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent technical proficiency with CRM systems, prospecting through effective use of the internet, and the Windows suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) of software tools.
• Valid US drivers license or equivalent required. 40-60% travel required.
