A good candidate should have a BS/MS degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering with 0-2 years experience in biochemical/biophysical analytical methods, preferably in a pharmaceutical setting.

Skills that are needed are as follows:

• Working knowledge of the use of dynamic light scattering techniques for characterizing macromolecules is preferred. Some in-house training will be provided.

• Hands-on experience in basic protein analytics, such as BCA/Bradford assays, SDS-PAGE, and UV spectroscopy would be helpful.

• Excellent written communication skills, especially as it relates to maintenance of laboratory notebooks. Ability to write clear and concise technical reports also preferred.
