Sr Manager Manufacturing, Cell Culture
Manages all aspects of GMP manufacturing for the mammalian cell culture, harvest and initial purification operations. Manages a team of manufacturing staff, including oversight of staff development, goal setting and performance management. Oversees the scheduling of all GMP activities to meet departmental schedules and corporate objectives and report progress using established reporting processes Oversees the development of training programs. Oversees the generation, maintenance and compliance with GMP documentation including standard operating procedures, master production records, material and product specifications Oversees the review of executed production records and associated GMP documentation. Participates in the transfer of technology from Process Development to Manufacturing Operations. Participates in the development of departmental budgets and long range planning including staff, equipment and material needs Participates in the development and implementation of process improvement and strategic growth initiatives for the Manufacturing department. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
Minimum 5 years managing GMP manufacturing in a Biologics based environment.Must have demonstrated skills and working knowledge of the unit operations associated with biologics manufacturing with a working knowledge of current regulatory requirements.
