The Genome Sequencing and Analysis Program brings together scientists, computational biologists and engineers focused on deciphering the important information encoded in the genomes of many different species including microorganisms as well as their hosts. Understanding these components is fundamental to the study of human physiology in both health and disease.The GSAP Administrative Assistant will support the administrative needs of four directors within the program, managing calendars, correspondence, travel, and scheduling needs as well as provide general administrative support for individuals within the program.

This individual will also maintain and update grant-related documents, assist in grant and manuscript preparation activities such as organization of references, data entry, formatting, and text and graphics editing. The administrative assistant will be responsible for coordinating complex meetings and special events, and will work in partnership with other support staff to cover routine tasks, order supplies, and obtain approvals, as well as be a point person for communication of and adherence to Broad administrative policies and procedures.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree, any fieldPreferred: Some scientific training helpful but not necessary
