Scope of the Position Provide oversight to the execution of strategic HEOR plans of ARIAD product(s) to support optimal patient access and Health Technology Assessment in Europe and ROW. This position will be located in Cambridge, MA, USA and reports to Head of Global HEOR based in Cambridge. Responsibilities
Provide strategic global insight and technical support on health technology assessments in Europe and ROW. Oversee the design and conduct of HEOR studies. Examples include, but are not limited to design and support of registries, utility/quality of life studies, health economic models, as well as retrospective and prospective studies aimed at validating country specific treatment patterns and clinical outcomes. Support training of EU and ROW access team on how to use health economic and outcomes research information to support reimbursement and patient access. Advise the global team on HEOR publication planning strategies, and ensure that scientific data resulting from the execution of HEOR studies are appropriately positioned in the public domain. Manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely completion of projects. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines governing commercial and scientific interactions with healthcare professionals, payers, advocacy and other business partners. Serve as a role model for compliant behavior that is consistent with the mission, vision and values of the ARIAD organization
Requirements/Qualifications:
Advance degree in a healthcare or economics related discipline (MD, PhD, PharmD preferred; MBA, MPH, MS with extensive experience will also be considered).  Relevant disciplines include Medicine, Pharmacy, Epdiemiology, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Economics and Nursing. At least 3-5 years of HEOR experiences; at least 2 years of hands-on EU HTA filing experiences required Expert research and analysis skills and a track record of publications would be an advantage. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational/administrative skills. Proficiency in project management and in forecasting and negotiating project budgets. Highly motivated and work well with minimal supervision. Supervision of external vendors will be required. Strong commitment to business ethics Understanding of, and experience with, regulatory framework applicable to interactions with HCPs, payers, advocacy and other business partners
