Job Description

We currently have an opening for a postdoctoral scientist in our molecular biology group.  The position is anticipated to last for approximately two years.  During this time you will use Ra’s in vitro selection platform to discover highly modified peptides to important drug targets.  You will be expected to learn about the biology, biochemistry, and structure of these drug targets and to leverage this knowledge to advance your work and the discovery process as a member of a project team.

Desired Skills & Experience

To be considered, applicants must have recently completed a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate that they are self-motivated and possess the ability and desire to learn new concepts, techniques and instrumentation.  Applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas will be preferred: protein or RNA biochemistry; structural biology; ribosome biochemistry; in vitro translation; chemical or synthetic biology; or in vitro selection technologies.
