About the position: We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join our Accounting and Finance team. This position is all about doing whatever it takes to help drive the T2 Biosystems Accounting and Finance to the next level. In practice, this means being ready to take on a myriad of accounting and financial related responsibilities for a hyper-growth, venture-backed company. Anything from managing vendor payables, to being a key part of the financial close and annual audit process, to helping us implement an ERP system and to be a key member in helping the team develop readiness for manufacturing.

About You: You’re someone who is happy when you are involved in many projects and multiple business critical tasks. You enjoy a variety of experiences like being involved in the operations of an accounting and finance organization, including a fast-paced team environment, but you’re careful to never neglect the details or seem harried. You have an entrepreneurial approach to getting things done. You are a quick-learner, self-starter and are results-oriented. You are great with Excel and you are comfortable learning new systems. You have accounting/finance experience and you are looking for that next role that will be a launching pad for your career, and you can’t wait to get started.
