Director of Market Analytics

 

Job Objectives and Tasks:

Responsible for commercial research functions including primary and secondary market research and competitive intelligence. Initial focus on launch support for EVP-6124 in schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s disease, primary responsibilities include: Define, plan and manage commercial research agenda in support of the brand team; Execute limited/focused research directly; manage suppliers on major research modules; Understand and apply advanced research methodologies; Deeply understand the fundamentals of decision makers, needs and preferences and product strengths and weaknesses;  Deeply understand the competitive landscape; Bring innovative insights and hypotheses to the commercial strategy development process; Help build analytical infrastructure to provide timely commercial insights.

Minimum Requirements:  The minimum education, knowledge and skills that the "ideal" candidate would need to perform the job:

Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred: advanced degree in statistics or related medical/scientific area also a plus. Complete facility with commercial research techniques, processes and analytic methodologies . In-depth knowledge of applicable secondary datasets. Management experience, excellent communication and team skills. Keen analytical mind with superior problem solving and technical skills.

Desired Experience:

7-10 Years of work in market research/marketing insights/commercial analytics field or equivalent consulting experience. Specific experience supporting the launch of large-market pharmaceuticals, preferably in the CNS space.
