Sr. Financial Analyst (Clinical Finance Contractor)
This is a 3-6 month contract opportunity.
This is a hands-on role with an emphasis on analysis and modeling of specific budget items in CRO proposals or actual costs in ongoing contracts. May also work on process improvements in outsourcing/clinical finance, and with IT to support implementation of new software applications. Would report to the Associate Director of R&D Finance but would interact with other Finance and IT staff, and with Clinical Operations and Program Teams on financial matters. This person will focus on supporting the establishment and management of CRO agreements.
Qualifications:
BS in Accounting or Finance, prefer MBA and/or CPA. Must have in-depth understanding of drug discovery and development and strong budgeting/forecasting skills. Interpersonal skills are critical; must be able to push for ther required outcome/result without alienating colleagues in the operating groups (primarily Development). Good communication/presentation skills also important.
Minimum of 5 years in clinical business operations. Experience with late-stage development important.
