Its first product (HepatoPacTM) is a micro-liver platform for advanced toxicity screening and drug discovery.
Primary Responsibilities: Conductin vitrohepatocyte cell biology contract research for pharmaceutical clients utilizing proprietary HepatoPac technology for DMPK and Tox applications. Responsibilities include execution of cell based assays (ELISA, colorimetric), PCR, compound dosing, sample collection, documentation, data analysis and report writing. Utilize aseptic technique conducting cell culture process steps in biological safety cabinets. Troubleshoot application problems. Perform application optimization and product development experiments. Contribute to the general laboratory infrastructure. Position requires the ability to work in a team oriented environment. The position is open for a daytime shift, but a flexible work schedule is required to meet project demands.
Degree Requirement / Prior Experience: Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience. Prior laboratory experience working with mammalian cell cultures is required. Experience culturing primary hepatocytes and executing drug metabolism/tox studies is highly desirable.
