Project coordinator is responsible for managing the planning and implementation of all meeting activities, including Exhibits & Tradeshows. Responsibilities include program organization, developing RFPs, budgeting, contracting & negotiations, site selection, housing, meeting specifications (i.e. f&b, logistics, av, space assignments, signage), billing, savings consolidation and HCP spend tracking. Provide on-site support by overseeing all arranged details of the program (i.e. attend pre-con, advance all functions, verify room set-ups, review banquet checks/master bill, special events, ground transfers, VIP needs, meeting materials). All meeting data must be entered in meeting technology including savings, final attendee registration and budget reconciliation. Successful candidate must have a positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external vendors/suppliers.
BS/BA degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Operations, Communications or Businesswith 2+ years experience with large meeting planning experience in a corporate setting.
Must have experience with microsoft office, and other industry related software & technologies (i.e., StarCite or Cvent & ARS systems)
