Responsibilities

 

Reporting to the Vice President, Global Marketing, this position will lead all marketing activities related to a product or family of products.  The successful candidate will demonstrate an appreciation for innovative marketing techniques and have the proven ability to provide strategic brand and life cycle management, vision and direction within a fast moving, lean and energetic commercial environment.  The ideal candidate will thrive on challenge, be highly collaborative, perceptive and an analytical problem solver.  Candidates will need to exhibit and demonstrate agility in moving between analysis, strategy and tactical execution on a daily basis and likewise in working across functions with peers and senior executives.  In addition, this individual must have presence and be passionate, articulate and polished and among other responsibilities, will be expected to:

  • Propose, develop, manage, execute and measure marketing strategies and tactics to support continued and increasing growth of core brands in the US and within key international markets
  • Solicit/collect, interpret and translate internal and external customer insights and market intelligence into unique marketing plans that drive product adoption and growth in both the US and key international markets
  • Drive day to day refinement and execution of marketing plan
  • Prepare, deliver/present and follow up on executive presentations
  • Support/facilitate the introduction of key products into x-US markets
  • Work effectively within organizational infrastructure to ensure all plans, tactics and materials are compliant and within legislative, policy and company standards; maintain current knowledge of, and ensure all functional work team activities are conducted in compliance with the full range of related internal and external systems, technology, regulatory requirements and related policies and procedures
  • Manage project budgets within established guidelines
  • Collaborate in a matrix organization, to ensure analyses, understanding and resulting strategies and tactics are robust; marshal support across functions to ensure project success
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with external parties including KOLs, Speakers, Agencies, and Medical Societies
  • Participate in, contribute to and/or drive cross-functional teams designed to explore, innovate or sharpen organizational performance

The incumbent will actively promote safety rules and awareness, will demonstrate good safety practices at all times, and take initiative to correct safety hazards.  Additionally, the incumbent will actively demonstrate and promote the Lantheus values of accountability, quality, efficiency, customer service, collaboration, and safety.

 
Minimum Requirements:

 

  • BS/BA required; Masters degree or MBA preferred
  • Fundamental understanding of the healthcare landscape & marketplace including policy & reimbursement by care setting and pay type, as well as data sources and stakeholder chains
  • Minimum of  10 years of  pharmaceutical, biotech, med device or health care diagnostics experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in brand/product marketing experience,
  • Hospital-based product experience
  • Proven record of leading brand growth
  • Significant experience in marketing to diverse customer segments including physicians, payers and other health care providers
  • Demonstrated success in leading and supporting sales force activity
  • An ability to travel up to 30% is required

  • Sales/Sales Management/Sales Training experience
