The Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) is currently looking for a strategically minded contract recruiter for a long term engagement at the Novartis Research Headquarters in Cambridge, MA.  As a member of our Global Staffing Team, you will join a talented group of individuals who share the singular vision of impacting the quality of patient lives by engaging the world’s most talented scientists and professional personnel.   

Though a solid history of full cycle recruitment experience is necessary, ideally as demonstrated by corporate experience in the Life Sciences, this role may be different from other assignments you have taken on.   The successful candidate in this role will use their breadth of knowledge and history of full cycle execution to partner with, train, and manage the recruitment process across multiple client groups.  You will work one on one and in group settings with hiring managers of varying backgrounds and experience with recruitment.   This will not be a role where you are placed in a silo with your clients and are expected to execute every detail of the recruitment process.   We need your expertise and a “teach to fish” mentality that can maximize our strategic impact on the future of our science by managing and driving a proper identification, assessment and onboarding strategy for each of your clients.   Along with recruitment strategy, additional responsibilities will include interviewing select candidates and ownership of the offer process.  In conjunction with the line based administrative support to handle logistics, you will partner with other internal recruiters, internal sourcers as well as our HR Business Partner community to assure our talent engagement approach is in line with the overall client and business strategy.

As with all recruitment, a demonstrated proficiency of understanding culture and establishing relationships both externally and internally are a must.  You will apply this ability primarily to guide and direct the recruitment process of your clients while also educating, assessing and engaging our potential new hires.
