Perform development and qualification of bioanalytical methodologies for characterization of proteins, antibody-drug-conjugates (ADCs), biomarkers, and small molecules using ligand binding assays and mass spectrometry based technologies. Duties and Responsibilities: This position will have one or more direct reports and is responsible for creating new bioanalytical methods for both non-clinical and clinical testing, providing scientific oversight for in-house activities and outsourced work at CROs, trouble-shooting assay related scientific issues at various stages of pharmaceutical development. Qualifications: PhD in Life Sciences or Chemistry with emphasis on quantitative assays for biological products or biomarkers, immunology, multiplex technologies with a minimum of 7 years of relevant pharmaceutical or biotech industrial experience. MS in Life Sciences or Chemistry with a minimum of 12 years of relevant pharmaceutical or biotech industrial experience. Preferred Expertise: Analytical method development for both large and small molecules, separation science and instrumental quantification methodologies, experience with GLP or GMP compliance. The candidate must have a proven record of scientific expertise through publication with hands-on experience in bioanalytical method development using ELISA, multiplexed technologies, and LC/MS/MS. Excellent knowledge in drug discovery/development, analytical science, assay related regulations would be a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
