Job Description Summary Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, and working closely with all members of the HR team, this position will focus on recruiting, hiring and onboarding activities for ARIAD’s open full time, temporary and consulting positions. The successful candidate will partner with hiring managers at all levels, recruit and manage the hiring process, work with outside vendors, oversee career fairs and college recruiting activities, and participate in ARIAD’s orientation program. This role supports the entire employee life cycle from sourcing to onboarding.  This highly collaborative and visible role is critical in ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.  Job Responsibilities:
Partner with hiring managers to open new full-time positions, write job description and develop and execute on a comprehensive recruitment strategy Provide high quality recruitment leadership and services to hiring managers across the organization Educate and train managers and interviewers on effective and compliant interviewing practices and techniques  and the hiring process Work closely with Compensation Director and HR Business Partner to determine attractive and appropriate total compensation package Work with OpenHire ATS to approve and post requisitions, manage and track candidates and hire and report on progress Partnering with the Staffing Coordinator to navigate the recruitment process from start to finish Mentor and develop members of  the HR Staffing organization Participate in and manage Career Fair activities Manage staffing Agency vendor relationships Work closely with HR and hiring managers to initiate and administer Relocations and Immigration process as needed for recruiting top talent
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required.  Min. 3 – 5 years’ experience recruiting in pharmaceutical, biotech or other life science company.   Experience recruiting for positions in Research, Development, Clinical and Commercial areas preferred, ability to source difficult to find candidates, close candidates on offers and drive the hiring process.   Proficiency with OpenHire ATS preferred, must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to multi-task and handle a high volume requisition load.         Footer Submitting a resume online at a job site could cause valuable screening information to be missed.
