International Support Manager, Biotech Instrumentation

As the Manager of International Support, Biotech Instrumentation, you will be responsible for supporting all international dealer and subsidiary activities relating to the BioProfile line of instruments. This will include heavy interface with Nova’s international dealers, trouble shooting, providing administrative and logistical support, as well, as instrument training and product management. You will provide technical support via email, phone and in person. You will understand distributor needs, educating both distributors and users about instrument specifications. In addition you will be responsible for instrument maintenance and validation procedures, such as installation qualifications and operational qualifications (IQ/OQ). This is a hand’s-on role, you must be mechanically and/or electronically inclined, willing and able to repair, install, troubleshoot and maintain equipment. You will report to the Director, International Applications and Support.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, the Life Sciences, or BioEngineering

3+ years working experience in a Biotech/ Pharmaceutical company or in a field service role supporting medical or industrial equipment.

Ability to travel internationally up to 40% of the time.

Understanding of GMP requirements, process validation in the biotech industry is big plus.

Strong oral and written communication skills

Well developed presentation and training skills

A polished, professional demeanor
