The Microfluidics postdoc will translate microfluidic technology developed at the Broad to application in epigenomics. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design of complex lab-on-a-chip systems, prototype fabrication, quality control, and wet-testing of these systems for advanced applications.

- PhD in bioengineering, MEMS, microfluidics engineering, or equivalent experience
- Hands-on proficiency with multi-layer photolithography (positive and negative resists)
- Experience using CAD software for the design of microfluidic systems
- Experience with soft lithographic techniques and optical metrology
- Experience with next-generation sequencing
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of staff
- Exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills, documentation practices, and attention to detail
- Ability to plan work flexibly in anticipation of contingencies while remaining highly organized and focused on project mission
- Programming for automated hardware control (matlab, labview, micromanager, etc) is a plus
- Collaborative, can-do attitude is a must
