Project Manager, New Product Development

The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to be a leader within the Customs Team by project managing multiple projects with varied complexities. The focus will be on project management with support to the Program Manager, Customs Team, and Internal and External Customers. This includes ownership of projects identified by the Program Manager with responsibility for budget, timeline, scope, quality, awareness of risks, taking and distributing project notes, and communicating project updates.
Minimum of an Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience managing multiple concurrent and technically complex projects. Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, time management practices, and change management techniques. Establish effective communication with other departments in order to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and effective manner. Ability to accommodate shifting priorities, demands, and timelines. Ability to quickly learn company processes and procedures. Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs, including familiarity with MS Project. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills necessary. Ability to function in a minimally supervised environment with exceptional attention to detail required. Position requires well established organization skills, and proven ability to multi-task. Proven ability to influence without authority. Extended work hours may be necessary in order to meet business demands. Experience with Design Control for Medical Devices. Experience with New Product Development and supporting product launches. Familiarity with FDA and EU regulations, and cGMP. Preferred: Experience in the Life Sciences industry.
