Director, Biostatistics

The Director, Biostastics will have full responsibility for the management, oversight, operation and direction of a group of projects within Biometrics. He/she will be accountable for assigned projects and the performance of all Biometrics staff working on the projects. He/she will be responsible for setting the technical and scientific directions of the projects and for setting career development goals for his/her direct reports. He/she will have ownership over effective project team operation and productive cross-functional collaboration of project teams. He/she will also be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies for assigned projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have extensive NDA experience dealing with the FDA and European regulators
• Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills, people and project management skills
• Must have at least an MS (PhD is preferred) in Statistics or equivalent field and a minimum of 15 years (10+ years with PhD) of pharmaceutical industry experience (experience in the HCV/HIV disease area is a plus).
