Position Title: Manager, Customer Contracting

Department: Trade & Managed Markets Operations

Reports to: Sr. Director, Trade & Managed Markets Operations


Responsibilities and day-to-day activities:

The Manager of Customer Contracting will be responsible for all aspects of Customer Contracting operations related to processing, maintenance, performance evaluation, and compliance for all AMAG customer contracts.

This individual will be a subject matter expert relative to contract customer’s (i.e; GPOs) performance evaluation and metric development, fee calculation, and rebate payment processing. Below is a representative, although not exclusive, list of accountabilities for this position:

1. Responsible for the complete cycle management of commercial (including dialysis chains, GPOs) customer contracts and coordination of these activities with AMAG’s 3PL provider, Sales, and Corporate Accounts.
2. Coordinate, validate, and disseminate WAC and contract pricing to price providers, AMAG’s 3PL, trade channel partners, GPOs, and contract customers.
3. Review and respond to Requests For Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations To Bid (ITBs) in compliance with corporate policies and Government regulations.
4. Design, generate, and audit contract sales reports to evaluate contract performance and track data for renewals and rebids.
5. Develop proposal guidelines and templates, and standardize responses.
6. Develop, write and revise applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
7. Support relationships with external vendors hired by AMAG for Legal, CMS, and Reimbursement expertise.
8. Manage other assignments provided by supervisor.





Requirements/Abilities/Skills:

Expertise with Pharmaceutical Customer Contracts including performance metrics, fee and rebate calculation methodologies/reporting, class-of-trade eligibility and pricing, and writing SOPs.

Education: MS/BS/AS and preferred type of degree:

BA/ BS required


Experience Level (Years):

A minimum of 4 years direct experience in pharmaceutical customer contracting required.
