Effective February 3, 3012 - 527 CMR 33 Hazardous Material Process or Processing regulation went into effect as voted by the Board of Fire Prevention Regulations.
According to DFS, the new regulation contains requirements of both facilities handling hazardous materials and the local head of the fire deparment.
This workshop will cover what CMR 33 is, its goal, how it became a regulation, when it is implemented, categories, emergency response, post incident analysis, public records, RMP vs PSM vs Massachusetts Regulation, comparisons of 5 compliance categories, and legal implications.
