Part A: Overview of Recent SEF Climate Survey Results

Part B: How to Prepare for and Survive a Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) Radioactive Material License Inspection.
Dr. Ed Maher Sc.D., CHP an Associate and Senior Health Physicist at Dade Moeller & Associates, Inc. will discuss what is required to demonstrate compliance with the DPH regulations, what happens after an inspection should you receive a Notice of Violation (NOV), the range of penalties and fines for receiving a NOV, and actual examples of noncompliance issues.
Ed Maher is a past President of the American Academy of Health Physics and the New England Chapter of the Health Physics Society. Dr. Maher is also an adjunct faculty member at the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) where he teaches radiation safety and a faculty member at the HSPH Center for Continuing Professional Education.
