Every Year, NEHI recognizes truly remarkable individuals who have indelibly changed healthcare by daring to think big. This year's honorees include: Robert Beall, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Joe and Kathy O'Donnell, The Joey Fund and Eric Olsen, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, for their partnership in the funding, research, and approval of a breakthrough drug for Cystic Fibrosis patients; Christine Cassel, ABIM Foundation, for innovative leadership through the Choosing Wisely Campaign; and U.S. Surgeon General Regina Bejamin (invited) for being an influential national voice for combating the obesity crisis and improving patient medication adherence.
