Partnering for Cures
Wednesday, November 28 – Friday, November 30 2012
Location: New York, NY
MassBio members are invited to attend the Partnering for Cures meeting convened by FasterCures to be held on November 28-30 in New York City.
This meeting brings together more than 800 leaders from all sectors of the medical research enterprise, across therapeutic areas. It is focused on solutions and making collaboration happen - and it works because the participants are there to get things done.
It features a stellar speaker line-up, including: NIH's Francis Collins, FDA's Janet Woodcock, QB3's Regis Kelly, Arizona State's Anna Barker, and leaders of the most innovative research nonprofits including the Michael J. Fox Foundation, Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, JDRF and many more. Other pharmaceutical & biotechnology companies, the venture capital community, and key federal officials will be there as well.
The program features 30 innovator presentations who were selected by peer review - cross-sector programs giving 20-minute investor-style presentations. It also has a customized partnering system that eases the process of networking and finding people whose work can support or align with yours.
Partnering for Cures is a unique opportunity for biotechnology companies to network and find nontraditional allies who can become true partners, in particular the members of the venture philanthropy community.
