The aim of the FDA/PhUSE annual Computational Science Symposium is to provide updates on collaborations with project groups to improve standards, tools and processes across regulatory review and computational science.

The annual Computational Science Symposium will bring FDA, industry and academia together for updates and work on collaborations established at previous symposiums and continued throughout the year. Additional collaborative projects will be created to address additional challenges related to the access and review of data to support product development. The groups will work on possible solutions and practical implementations with the goal of helping the broader community align and share experiences to advance computational science.

Working Groups:

Over the last few months the CSS Steering Committee has performed a formal review of each working group's mission, objectives and progress since the last meeting. Based on this review and to maximize efficiency and organization, the groups will be re-organized into fewer working groups with broader focus with each working group having multiple specific, well-defined projects within it. Click here to see the summary of the working groups which will move forward within the initiative.

As part of the annual CSS, the FDA, in co-sponsorship with PhUSE, is accepting proposals for new projects. A proposal will address problems of significant relevance to computational science related to drug, biologic and device development and must meet all of the guidelines for projects within the FDA/PhUSE collaboration. Conference Dates:

The conference will commence at 8.30am on Monday, March 18th and end at 6pm on Tuesday, March 19th.

Advanced onsite registration will open on Sunday, March 17th between 4pm - 6pm.
