How (Even a Little) Volunteering Can Change Your Life a Lot

Monday, March 4 2013
5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Location: MassBio, 300 Technology Square, 8th Floor, Cambridge, MA

Whether you’re a frequent volunteer or have yet to give it a try, please join us for a special evening to celebrate the volunteer spirit that makes HBA all it is. This year’s CAP (Contribution and Participation) Volunteer Award winners will be honored for all they do. And a featured speaker will share perspectives on what she’s gained from her volunteer experience.

It’s a given that volunteers are the lifeblood of HBA, but did you know that our volunteers actually get more than they give? Time and again we hear how great the benefits and rewards are…the friendships and professional relationships formed…the connections forged…the career “doors” opened…many opportunities await even for those with little time to devote. Please reserve your space early for this engaging evening (free of charge).

Learning Objectives
1. Learn about the various volunteer opportunities HBA offers
2. Become inspired by members describing what they get out of volunteering for HBA
3. Consider how you and your career could benefit from volunteering
4. Celebrate our most outstanding volunteers and their contributions to HBA Boston
