Cross Cultural Biotech Presentation Skills will run for two half days, October 15th & October 30th, 2013with a follow up meeting on January 22, 2014 from 8:30-12
Who should attend this course?
Anyone in the biotech industry who works in a global environment or is a non-native English speaker. This course is a great introduction for someone who has never taken a presentation skills course, as well as the seasoned communicators who need to practice in a new environment. Everyone will learn new tips and tricks for making their presentations more effective.
This two-half day course provides interactive workshops encompassing communication styles, perception and persuasion, cross cultural communications as well as public speaking. Offered together, these programs provide participants with the opportunity to put their new communications skills into practice with both American and international audiences, as well as internal and external constituencies. This comprehensive curriculum includes case studies, multimedia presentations, and best practices all specific to the biotech industry as well as videotaping and instant feedback, which will provide insight into each team member’s unique communications style and strengths as well as solutions to individual challenges. Participants leave with new skills for presenting scientific findings, marketing products, ideas, and concepts, as well as making recommendations.
