Healthcare Panel: Scalable innovation in Indian healthcare
With over 1.2 billion people in India, a majority live below the poverty line and only 3-5% have health insurance. Over 70% of the population lives in rural areas and they cant afford the urban-centric, retroactive insurance plans. There is a lack of consistency in the healthcare resources, infrastructure and affordability between the rural and urban areas. This panel will address how quality healthcare can be scaled to reach the majority from the lenses of delivery, hospital practice, industry and innovation. The panelists will elaborate on trends, challenges and opportunities in each of their verticals toward a scalable healthcare system.
