Mass Biotech Softball- National Braille Press Volunteer Opportunity
Later this month our league will be volunteering at the National Braille Press in Boston. We would love to get 24 volunteers to help put together Braille books for children. It's very simple. Basically, after a brief tour of the press & learning about what they do, our group will be collating the Braille pages into the children's book. It's simple, easy, and fun! Lunch will be served.

Limited parking is available at the press, or take the MBTA on the green line "E" train to the Northeastern University stop.
The first year we volunteered with them we were told that we were the fastest, most accurate group they'd ever had! I think we finished by about 12:30pm.

About National Braille Press
The National Braille Press (NBP) is a non-profit organization that publishes books in Braille. They work with volunteers to convert books to Braille in order to sell them for the same price as printed books (generally Braille books are much more expensive than regular books).
