Occupational medicine and environment, health, and safety professionals must learn the leadership and management skills necessary to make strategic contributions and communicate the need for safety and health initiatives within their organization. EHS and occupational medicine professionals from all organizations will gain the management training needed to develop strategies for integrating a culture of safety and sustainability into their organizations.
The course includes a segment on the role of transformational leadership in achieving engagement and functional excellence.
Taught in an exceptionally interactive classroom, the content explores lectures, case studies, and team exercises as teaching methods. Participants are encouraged to pose management issues and problems for discussion.
