When Size Really Does Matter: Long Molecule Sequencing and the Future of Disease Identification

Scientists are on the verge of completely decoding inherited and mutational diseases, including most forms of cancer and birth defects – with the missing tool being DNA sequence data from long molecules.  William Glover, Founder and CEO of ZSGenetics of Wakefield, MA, will discuss how his organization will use molecules 500 times longer than current technologies, providing an almost perfect picture of the genomic basis of disease, at this month’s NSTC Biosciences First Friday lunch seminar.
