Meeting Overview:
This joint presentation by the Marketing Communications and Law and Policy Committees will discuss use of Web 2.0 /social media - e.g., FaceBook, Twitter, You Tube, blogs - by FDA-regulated companies. Speakers from both Committees will provide an overview of how companies are making use of social media in marketing and other communications, some key considerations in deciding whether to use social media and the current state of FDA and other legal guidance in this area. Attendees are welcome to join in the discussion.
