Titled "Discovery Models and Applications to Candidate Selection," this Covance Discovery seminar will be held on August 10 at the Boston Museum of Science. The seminar begins at 2:00 p.m. and concludes with a dinner reception, ending at approximately 7:30 p.m. Scientific talks will be given by industry leaders, both from within and outside of Covance.   Topics include:

• The integration of drug safety, drug efficacy and advanced technologies in the Discovery space
• Addressing drugs of abuse in the Discovery sp
• Biomarkers, genomics and translational strategies
• Oncology screening approaches, including imaging
• Intravital microscopy and its use with transporters and therapeutic area needs
