How will the MassBio Exchange be unique?
The MassBio Innovation Exchange will provide the only true and secure electronic connection in the industry today between inventors (“Sellers”) and the seekers (“Buyers”) most appropriate to commercialize the innovation.  It will provide Buyers with the best practices in open innovation, facilitate the communication of portfolio strategy to Sellers, and improve the overall quality, quantity and speed of commercialization of biotech innovation. And it's endorsed and facilitated by your industry partner, MassBio.

How does MassBio plan to populate the Exchange with “Seller” / out-licensing technology?
Our supercluster has technology that is unique, compelling and game changing.   Our commitment is to get these technologies from our members into the Exchange. Yes, these programs create a stronger supercluster and insure that value added services remain within our membership.

 

Why is MassBio expanding its programs to include more strategic offerings like Innovation Services?
With the release of the 2015 Report, our strategic plan, almost 18 months ago, the industry and you, our members, are asking for MassBio to create new programs & offerings that add insight and strategic value. We believe that we have responded aggressively to these requests, most notably in key areas like collaboration & partnering.

 

As a Large Pharma/”Buyer” in the Exchange looking to in-license, how does the solution help me to collaborate with my teams internally to identify and evaluate opportunities?
As you become a Charter Member, we will provide a Best Practice review of your innovation practices and train your team on utilizing the solution to collaborate with cross function teams internally within your organization on a virtual basis to accelerate your strategic pipeline.

 

Could I also populate the Exchange with technology and assets that I want  to potentially out-license?
Absolutely. Technology & intellectual property collaboration within the industry leaders are critical to our industry’s success.
