Meeting Overview:

Join MBC for a roundtable discussion and presentation on strategic options for hiring foreign national workers when H-1B visas are in scarce supply; the benefits and pitfalls of signing up for the government's E-Verify program; and Immigration Update 2008.

The panel will be Susan Cohen and Jeff Goldman, who head the immigration practice at Mintz Levin in Boston, and Martha Bradford, Sr. Manager, Human Resource officer at EPIX Pharmaceuticals, who has worked in the biotech industry for 9 years. In her role as HR generalist, formerly at a German based bio-tech company and currently at EPIX, she has facilitated the processing of many visa's and permanent residence cards, and has weathered the vagaries and challenges inherent in the process.
