What the Training Covers

 

The Medical Writing Training in Protocol Writing, Narrative Writing, and Clinical Study Report Writing: Entry-Level brings a combination of lectures and labs (hands-on practice) to a small, class-sized environment for working professionals - including minorities. This training program is presented by BIOCiS Ltd. (www.biocis.org), a Cambridge, Massachusetts-based nonprofit working to develop women and minorities for biotechnology data careers.

 

Who Should Attend

 

Working professionals with one or two years of scientific writing experience, who want to pursue entry-level medical writing careers in the biotech/pharma/CRO industry, will benefit from this training program. Education requirement: Bachelor's or higher. Please join us in Kendall Square.

 


What You Should Learn

 

You should learn the following from industry-experienced medical writers and a biostatistician:

 

·         To use industry-standard medical writing processes

·         To plan, write, and edit protocols

·         To plan, write, and edit clinical study reports

·         To plan, write, and edit subject adverse event narratives

·         To interpret, present, and report safety and efficacy statistical results
