Join the MBC for our annual Golf Classic in support of the MassBioEd Foundation.

18 Hole courses, food, drinks, networking and fun … all for an excellent cause!

Proceeds from the Golf Classic: will assist the MassBioEd Foundation in fulfilling its mission to promote and deliver quality biotechnology educational experiences in schools, the workplace and in the community. MassBioEd's BioTeach program strives to provide every public high school in Massachusetts with the skills and tools that are necessary to teach biotechnology. Since 2005 BioTeach has engaged high school students with hands-on lab experiences that inspire scientific curiosity, understanding, and for many students, a career in the life sciences. To date they have reached over 150 high schools, trained hundreds of teachers and touched thousands of students.

The Biotechnology Learning Center program focuses on the workplace and community to build and strengthen the biotech workforce through courses, seminars and online resources. In 2007 over 170 professionals from 70 member companies participated in these career enriching opportunities.

For each of the past two years, the Golf Classic has raised over $100,000. Your participation, donations and sponsorship can help us to exceed last year's proceeds.

ENTRY FEE

Fee includes 18 holes of golf, shared golf cart, continental breakfast, lunch, cocktail reception, buffet, and sponsor gift bag.

Pair, trio and foursome fees are based on the person who is registering. If the person registering is a MBC member then each group will be charged the MBC Member fee. If the person registering is not a member, then each group will be charged the Non-Member fee, even if there are MBC members included in the group.

Individuals

MBC Members: $275 per person
Non-Members: $400 per person

Twosomes

MBC Member Twosomes: $550 per pair
Non-Member Twosomes: $800 per pair

Threesomes

MBC Member Threesomes: $825 per trio
Non-Member Threesomes: $1200 per trio

Foursomes

MBC Member Foursomes: $1100 per foursome
Non-Member Foursomes: $1600 per foursome
