The German State of Bavaria’s economic development organization provides connections, expertise and assistance, free of charge, to companies considering expansion into one of the world’s leading Biotech regions: Bavaria, Germany. We offer extensive information on Bavaria’s biotech and life science sectors, starting a business in Germany and financial support programs as well as connections to industry associations, research centers, and potential business partners.

It is our goal to foster strong business connections and research partnerships between American and Bavarian companies through our New York, San Francisco and Munich Germany offices. Furthermore by connecting business and science, the Bavarian Biotechnology Cluster provides a state-wide network that supports and strengthens innovation, research and commercialization. Bavaria’s Biotech cluster management, Bio M Cluster Development GmbH, is a partner in the EU ABCEurope project, which promotes closer cooperation among European bioregions and their companies. Biotech companies operating in Bavaria enjoy a favorable environment for growth, international cooperation and transnational innovation.

With the biotech communities of Munich/Martinsried/Freising, Regensburg, Straubing and Würzburg/Erlangen/Nuremberg/Bayreuth, Bavaria is the leading Biotech region in Germany and among the top 4 in Europe.
