Pavilion events and activities to help promote industry, BIO 2012

Massachusetts is gearing up to tell its story at the 2011 BIO International Convention in Washington, DC next week. The Convention presents an opportunity for Massachusetts companies, academic institutions, economic development agencies and other organizations to highlight the great work being done in the Commonwealth.Directory

MassBio will staff a booth (3419–A) with materials and information outlining the scope of the industry in Massachusetts. Swing by for a MassBio bag and the new Complete Guide to the New England Life Sciences Industry!

New this year, the BioReady booth (3419–C) showcases a collection of Massachusetts municipalities ready to welcome biotech expansion. The Pioneer Valley Life Science Institute, Worcester’s Gateway Park (Kelleher & Sadowsky), Tufts Cummings Science Park in Grafton, the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce and the cities of Cambridge (BioMed Realty Trust) & Quincy will be spotlighted.

And don’t miss the Massachusetts Green Bio booth (3419 – I), which will highlight the work being done in biofuels and clean energy throughout the Commonwealth. The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, BioAmber, Metabolix, NatureWorks, Agrivida, Qteros and Corinne Young LLC will be featured.

Other exhibitors include the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, Integrated Project Management, Biopharm Insight/Infinata, Children’s Hospital, SouthCoast Development, the Massachusetts Business Resources Team, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, UGL Services, and the Massachusetts Technology Transfer Center.
