Sens. Brown, Kerry ask for MA Patent Office
November 18, 2011
Yesterday Senators Scott Brown and John Kerry sent a letter to U.S. Patent & Trademark Office Director (USPTO) David Kappos. The recently passed patent reform bill requires USPTO to establish three satellite offices throughout the U.S. to carry out its responsibilities. In their letter, Brown and Kerry make a strong case for why Massachusetts should receive one of the satellite offices.
MassBio thanks Senators Kerry and Brown for their leadership and advocacy on this issue.
