Calling all MBC member companies to join the LIFE SCIENCES INTERNSHIP CHALLENGE

MBC member companies have the opportunity to access qualified summer interns through the new Internship Challenge run by the Massachusetts Life Science Center.
Undergraduates concentrating in the study of science, technology, engineering, and math and who have completed at least their junior year in a 4-year academic institution or one year of specialized training in a 2-year college are eligible to apply. Students will be competing for an 8-week internship with a life sciences company or research institution and will receive a stipend of $4,800 from the Center.
The program is designed to eliminate administrative burdens for host companies while providing them with a pool of qualified students. To participate, companies will:
Companies that already offer internship programs are also encouraged to participate in the Internship Challenge by using the database to select their interns and also supplement their program with additional interns.

- Review on-line resumes and applications submitted by the students
- Interview candidates
- Notify the Center of an interest in hiring a particular applicant
