MassBio Needs Your Feedback About Impact of Possible Changes In Tax Code
A group of respected scholars is studying how the tax code impacts the decisions of corporations that do business both in the U.S. and internationally. The researchers are particularly interested in the potential impact of certain reform proposals, such as the creation of an “innovation box,” on the life sciences industry.
While neither MassBio nor BIO is funding or sponsoring the research, both organizations are interested in the outcome and have agreed to send this survey to our members. As such, senior tax executives of each company are encouraged to complete the survey.
The more respondents there are, the more reliable the results will be. Although the survey gives special attention to the specific impacts of moving to an innovation box regime, it also covers a range of other important topics as well.
To ensure confidentiality and high-quality results, the research team has contracted with a survey research firm called StatPac to administer the survey online and collect the data. It has extensive experience in conducting business surveys. All participants will receive a copy of the survey results when the analysis is completed.
Complete confidentiality is guaranteed.
Contracting with Statpac allows the administration of the survey with the highest degree of integrity and security. Your responses will be accessible only to the academic research team and Statpac. Your answers will be kept strictly confidential: no employee of BIO or any other company can access the responses. All identifying information on survey responses will be destroyed when the project is completed. Analyses based on the survey data will be reported on a combined basis and no individual company data will be identifiable.
