MassBio Announces New Collaboration with UPS
The Massachusetts Biotechnology Council today announced its collaboration with the world's largest package delivery company and a leading global provider of specialized transportation and logistics services, UPS.
UPS was chosen as a Primary Supplier in the MassBio Purchasing Consortium to provide MassBio member companies with access to national carrier shipping at discounted rates.
"In this economy, we know MassBio members are looking for ways to cut operating costs so they can focus on funding the live saving research they're doing every day," said Robert K. Coughlin, MassBio President & CEO. "This new partnership will show member clear savings while providing best-in-class customer service."
The MassBio Purchasing Consortium leverages the power of the collective membership to negotiate contracts with vendors that save member companies significant amounts of money.
