Overbrook Scientific Launches Total Analytical Instrument Qualification (AIQ) Laboratory Compliance Services to Lower Operating Costs
BOSTON, Mass. -- Overbrook Scientific, Inc., an independent instrumentation company which treats your science as our business, formally announces Total AIQ, the innovative, multi-vendor, harmonized analytical instrumentation qualification service after increased demand from clients.
Total AIQ is a single, harmonized qualification protocol for all makes and models of chemical analysis systems. Currently there are existing protocols for LC, GC, GCMS, LCMS, LCMSMS and Tablet Dissolution systems, with UV-Vis and IR in production. The platform can incorporate existing manufacturer protocols and/or client's existing protocols and thus be customized to fit the intended use in accordance with USP <1058>.
Total AIQ allows clients to reduce operating costs, minimize protocol administration burdens, and maintain control with traceability and streamlined support through one service provider. The Total AIQ solution is especially appealing to labs with multiple vendor instrumentation. Traceable calibration of measurement tools, traceable chemical reference standards and standard operation procedures (SOP) are included.
On the growth and official launch of the Total AIQ service, Ted Palashis, president, Overbrook Scientific, Inc. comments, "We have been conducting qualifications for our line of headspace and liquid autosamplers over many years, and have conducted IQ, OQ for other analytical instrumentation for pharma and biotech clients for the last three years. Total AIQ is a logical evolution for us since we have provided maintenance, repair, service and support for multiple vendor chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation since our inception in 2001. Overbrook Scientific is an independent instrumentation service provider experienced with multiple OEM manufacturers' instrumentation - Agilent, PerkinElmer, Waters/Micromass, Thermo and others -- providing best-in-class service and quality to maintain and ensure regulatory compliance."
